Spirally Welded Steel Pipes
SSAW (Submerged Spiral Arc Welded) steel pipes are characterized by a welding seam that follows a spiral pattern across the pipe. The process involves unrolling a coil and shaping it into a spiral to create the pipe, followed by continuous spiral welding until the coil is completely unwound. This production method is particularly well-suited for larger projects involving extensive quantities, long pipes, and relatively thin wall thicknesses.
Spirally welded pipes are highly suitable for diverse constructions such as combined walls, jetties, outrigger pipes, mooring posts/fenders, and guideways.
